Winedinner in Toronto, a full immersion of Erice Doc Territory at Nodo Restaurant

An immersion into Erice Doc territory through its wines and its food. Last week we were in Toronto, Canada, for two winedinners at Nodo Restaurant with our Lilly Fazio.
The main characters were some of the most representative wines of Erice Doc: Aegades Grillo, Calebianche Catarratto, Torre dei Venti Nero d’Avola and CasaSanta Cabernet Sauvignon. Each wine was paired with a traditional sicilian dish.
The most appreciated pairing was the one with Poppy sesame crusted Ahi Tuna and Calebianche Catarratto, an harmonius, full and persistent wine with a flavour that recalls the fragrance of white flowers. An expression of Erice Doc territory.
