distillates

From the selection of the best Nero d’Avola, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot pomaces, Casa Vinicola Fazio produces two rich and enveloping grappas in the Erice area. Stored in a controlled atmosphere, they reveal great harmony and persistence on the palate. Pietrasacra and Excelsa are appreciated for their strong character, and for their distinct notes of undergrowth and typical hints of the grapes of origin.

PIETRASACRA

Made with an artisanal method, Pietrasacra is a grappa of great substance and a faithful expression of the inimitable territory of the DOC Erice, rich in history and traditions. The hints of ripe red fruits of Nero d’Avola, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are enhanced in this distillation, giving a sense of organoleptic fullness that ascends to an almost austere elegance.

With its extraordinary freshness, it carries along the traditions, history, and aromas of the territory of origin. ZY Zibibbo is a great sweet wine, characterized by an explosive aromatic complexity of candied fruit, cinnamon, and vanilla, embellished with delicate scents that give elegance and flavor.

the production philosophy

The company wants to express the beauty of this land and its wonderful fruits through continuous research, valorization of grapes and territories, respect for people and nature. Casa Vinicola Fazio is founded on these principles in the twenty years of wine production, along with hospitality and travelling around the world. Strong and proud of her experience, Lilly – together with her team – is always looking for new prospects that valorize her land and allow it to be appreciated in the main international markets. Developments that must be clearly scrutinized through increasingly “green” lenses. In fact, sustainability is the common thread that binds all production processes: starting with the use of organic material for the soil, up to the winery’s machinery powered by renewable energy.
