Limited yields and superior quality make the most out of the company’s historic vines. Catarratto, Nero D’Avola, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are the leading figures of a clear and precise enological design: these small niche productions come from vineyards of under two hectares, which are then aged in barriques to reach even more structure and complexity. These high-end wines place themselves at the top of the quality pyramid of Casa Vinicola Fazio and live in harmony with the territory from which they originate, enhancing the colors and scents of this wonderful part of Sicily.
The Vigne di Pietrasacra line represents the flagship of a project with which the Fazio family develops and enhances the high potential of the main varieties of the Sicilian winemaking tradition. This is done by protecting some historic vineyards which, over the years, have achieved an extraordinary ability to adapt to the contextual habitat and to climate changes.
